Welcome to Crosswort. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Crosswort mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Crosswort ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
Crosswort provides language learning through daily crossword puzzles. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Some features of Crosswort require a paid subscription ("Crosswort Pro"). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Crosswort and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
The crossword puzzles, clues, vocabulary lists, and other educational content are proprietary to Crosswort. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or other submissions to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such content into the Service without compensation to you.
The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (such as Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or dictionary lookup services). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee any specific learning outcomes from using the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CROSSWORT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crosswort and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If your account is terminated, you may lose access to your learning progress and data.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please stop using the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Delaware, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Crosswort regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
